About the Role:
Our client is seeking a versatile Full-charge Bookkeeper to join their team and work closely with their CFO. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on accounting responsibilities-such as bookkeeping, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP)-with broader involvement in the company’s financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to take ownership of both day-to-day transactions and higher-level financial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor communication
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly close processes
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analysis for the CFO and leadership team
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Help implement and improve financial processes, policies, and internal controls
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting
- Assist in preparing materials for audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (bookkeeping, AR, AP)
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
- Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a leadership team
