Position Title: Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Position Description

Opens containers using hand tools; counts, weighs, and samples materials; and utilizes computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets and trays by hand. Completes physical inventory counts by manually counting or using a weigh scale.

Skills Preferred

  • Forklift certification
  • High-reach truck operation experience

Experience Required

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift weights of up to 40 lbs
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings as needed
  • Minimum three years of inventory management experience
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to operate a handheld scanner quickly and accurately
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced math skills
  • Computer and typing proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software
  • Ability to operate various types of propane or electric-powered forklifts

Education Required

  • High School Diploma

Additional Information

  • Candidates interested in working overtime as needed will be given preference.
