Electrical Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Schedule: Hybrid | 9/80 work schedule | 8:00 AM start time
Contract: 6-month contract with potential for extension or direct hire
Compensation: $41–$44 per hour | Optional benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and manage electrical systems, components, and products for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills to support the development of high-quality, reliable solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on across the full engineering lifecycle—from concept and design through testing and production—while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products in accordance with project requirements.
- Develop and test prototypes to verify functionality, performance, and safety compliance.
System Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Analyze electrical systems and circuits using simulation tools to enhance design performance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Project Management
- Plan and manage electrical engineering projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, specifications, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical systems into larger assemblies or products.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative approaches to improve performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in electrical circuit design and analysis, including the use of simulation and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience
- Prior experience in electrical engineering, design, or testing preferred.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment and manufacturing processes is a plus.
