Manufacturing Test Engineer

Location: Hudson, NH

Compensation: $35 to $40 per hour

Schedule: 9/80 work schedule

Employment Type: Six-month contract with potential for direct hire - Full benefits available while on contract

Onsite Requirement: 100 percent onsite

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance


Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead advanced debug and validation efforts for Intel-based server motherboards. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in hardware-level diagnostics and a passion for improving processes, driving test innovation, and collaborating across diverse technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead root-cause analysis and complex debug activities on Intel server motherboard platforms
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation scripts
  • Collaborate with design, BIOS, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve product issues and improve first-pass yields
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance test efficiency and reliability through automation, tool development, or workflow optimization
  • Mentor junior engineers and establish quality standards in test methodology and execution


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in hardware validation, system-level debug, or related technical roles
  • Strong expertise in Intel architecture, server platform features, and debug tools such as ITP, JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation
  • Experience with manufacturing test flows or high-volume production environments
  • Knowledge of quality systems, reliability analysis, or Six Sigma processes
