We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to champion facility-wide transformation projects and lead process innovation initiatives. In this high-impact role, you will take ownership of plant layout redesigns, drive technology integration, and optimize workflows that support our ongoing evolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive initiatives to redesign facility layouts and transform manufacturing processes.
  • Drive integration and implementation of new technologies to modernize operations.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies and drive measurable improvements.
  • Develop and execute ramp-up/ramp-down strategies for production transitions.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both new and existing production lines.
  • Design safe, ergonomic, and efficient workstations utilizing industrial engineering best practices.
  • Optimize production lines through line balancing and workflow planning.
  • Apply Lean methodologies and conduct value stream mapping to reduce waste and maximize productivity.
  • Support new product, process, and system launches from inception through full-scale implementation.
  • Define resource requirements including labor, materials, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses, including make-versus-buy decisions.
  • Utilize digital manufacturing tools to model and simulate processes for informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in operations, engineering, safety, and leadership.
  • Champion continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and workplace safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, STEM, or related field — or equivalent industry experience.
  • Extensive experience as an Industrial Engineer in manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead plant-wide projects and broad transformation efforts.
  • Strong background in Lean manufacturing and value stream mapping.
  • Proficient in time studies, work measurement, and process optimization.
  • Ability to assess and improve complex systems involving people, materials, equipment, and data.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Solid grasp of manufacturing mechanics and process design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in engine manufacturing, remanufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Track record of launching new products and/or processes at scale.
  • Familiarity with integrating advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Applied knowledge of ergonomic standards and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience with digital simulation or manufacturing analysis tools.
  • Prior experience in unionized or large-scale plant environments.
