$120,000 - $150,000 DOE


Our Client in Hollywood Florida is looking for a Property/Asset Manager to Manager several properties in the Southeast United States. This person will be traveling one day a week and in office the rest of the week.


Responsibilities:


  • Tenant Management:
  • Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Facilitate lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations.
  • Ensure tenants comply with lease terms and regulations.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage property budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Collect rents and other payments from tenants.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Review and approve invoices and expenses related to property operations.
  • Property Maintenance:
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  • Address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions to tenants.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management:
  • Hire, supervise, and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Obtain competitive bids for maintenance and renovation projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors adhere to agreed-upon terms and standards.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
  • Ensure properties comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Address any compliance issues or violations in a timely manner.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks to the property and its occupants.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as insurance coverage and safety protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents as they arise.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Provide regular reports to property owners or management company stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, property owners, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about property performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in property management, real estate, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of local real estate market trends and conditions.
