These products include a wide range of flexible packaging solutions, including Inno-Lok, Pre-made pouches, and Sustainable solutions for bags that serve multiple verticals that include Food, Health & Beauty, Bedding, Tobacco, and Cannabis markets.



Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Packaging Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our presence in the Pet Food and Confectionery industries. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and driving sales growth in flexible packaging applications, including stand-up pouches, resealable bags, and custom-printed roll stock.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting the pet food and confectionery sectors. Identify, engage, and manage new business opportunities within your assigned territory or account list. Provide consultative sales support by understanding clients’ packaging needs and recommending CPG’s flexible packaging solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments including product development, production, and customer service to ensure seamless execution. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer demands, and competitor offerings.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote CPG’s products and capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM software.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in flexible packaging or related industries.
  • Existing knowledge of or experience in the pet food or confectionery packaging markets is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and managing long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Commission structure: 1% to 2% of sales.
