We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support overall business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial reporting, cash management, costing, and accounting systems, along with a strong understanding of business processes and cross-functional operations.

This role requires a proactive and polished accounting professional who can lead initiatives, improve internal procedures, and contribute to the continued growth of a fast-paced, family-owned company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage daily cash flow and bank activity reporting
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Handle Positive Pay submissions across multiple banks
• Develop standard costing and cost accounting protocols
• Support financial planning and analytics with ad hoc reports for leadership
• Assist in process development and business operations improvements
• Be a resource and mentor within the organization

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting and business operations experience
• Strong background in commercial or industrial environments
• Solid understanding of financial principles, costing, and reporting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Honest, reliable, and committed to professional growth

Location: Bayonne, NJ

Salary: $80,000–$105,000
