Business Development / Relationship Manager

Join a fast-growing manufacturer of institutional furniture and own a California territory focused on dealer relationships and channel sales. You’ll lead trainings and new product presentations, open new accounts, represent NPS at trade shows, and manage your pipeline/activity in a CRM. Success looks like deeper dealer engagement, consistent revenue growth, and a healthy flow of new opportunities across schools, houses of worship, municipalities, and other institutional buyers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Train dealer partners; deliver new product presentations and sales initiatives.
  • Drive sell-through via existing dealer network and open new accounts.
  • Represent NPS at trade shows; assist with proposals and presentations.
  • Provide quick, accurate pricing/quotations and product support to dealers.
  • Track activities, pipeline, and progress in CRM; report territory results.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years in relationship-based B2B sales/business development.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written communication; skilled, professional email crafting.
  • Proficient with Outlook and CRM tools.
  • Proven success growing a territory through dealers/channel partners.
  • Willingness to travel within California (approx. 30%; occasional out-of-state for trade shows).
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to host trainings and product demos.


Location: California (statewide travel)

Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000–$140,000/year (base + commission)

Travel: 30% within CA; trade shows as needed
