The Director of Account Management / Inside Sales will oversee a team responsible for managing client relationships and generating revenue through inside sales strategies. This leadership role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on coaching to ensure sales targets are met, accounts are nurtured, and opportunities are maximized.
The successful candidate will implement performance metrics, optimize sales processes, and foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture. You will also work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align account management and sales initiatives with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account managers and inside sales representatives.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth and retention goals.
- Oversee client relationship management, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor KPIs, sales performance, and pipeline activity, providing regular reports to leadership.
- Implement sales training, best practices, and process improvements to boost productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales and account management efforts with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue through account management and inside sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and CRM proficiency.
- A few years of combined experience in account management and inside sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
