Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Safety & Continuous Improvement Engineer to identify, assess, and eliminate safety risks while driving process improvements across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for designing and implementing safety solutions, supporting equipment installations, and leading cross-functional improvement projects to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze safety risks in the manufacturing environment and implement corrective actions

• Lead safety and continuous improvement projects to reduce risk and improve performance

• Design, install, or modify tools, devices, and equipment to improve safety and productivity

• Collaborate cross-functionally on new equipment installations and process improvements

• Develop and maintain procedures and policies for safe operation of equipment and machinery

• Train or coordinate training on new machinery, tools, and safety protocols

• Prepare and deliver safety presentations to drive awareness and engagement at all levels

• Support purchasing, commissioning, and validation of new machinery

• Manage multiple projects while ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety compliance

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, safety, or continuous improvement roles

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments

• Proven project management and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
