HiFyve is hiring a CNC Programmer!

Salary: $32 - $40.00/hr (based on experience)

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Location: Nashua, NH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and create CNC programs for CNC milling machines using Mastercam or CAMWorks, ensuring optimal quality, efficiency, and tooling performance.
  • Create and revise setup sheets and maintain program documentation for manufacturing operations.
  • Approve CNC programs, revisions, and related documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide technical programming support to Project Engineers, Estimators, Supervisors, and CNC Machinists.
  • Prepare CAM files from CAD models, prints, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Set up CNC milling machines and run prototype or production parts as needed.
  • Review customer-provided files and documentation for accuracy; collaborate with internal teams or customers to resolve discrepancies prior to manufacturing.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the production environment.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
  • At least 1 year of multi-axis CNC programming experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a CNC Setup Machinist and/or Lathe Machinist.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam or CAMWorks software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools to maintain correct tolerances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong ability to problem-solve, manage time, and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a prototype machining environment.
  • Demonstrated success improving processes or workflow efficiency.
