Open positions are located in Grayson, Kennesaw, and Fayetteville, GA.
Summary-HVAC Service Technician
The HVAC Service Technician maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers while providing excellent customer service.
Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.
Essential Functions-HVAC Service Technician
Successfully diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers’ recommendations.
Establish and foster client relationships through strong communication and customer service providing the ability to fully explain to customer what the issues are and their options for repair (when applicable)
Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
Maintain good working order of Company vehicle (i.e., safety checks, maintenance, etc.)
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle in a clean and organized fashion.
Understand Company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoices at job site.
Identify opportunities for customers to improve home comfort systems.
Participate in Company-provided training and comply with all code regulations.
Adhere to all Company safety rules.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications-HVAC Service Technician
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a residential HVAC Service Technician
EPA Certification required. NATE certification, a plus.
Mechanical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
Results driven in a high-energy environment.
Attention to detail.
Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced Phone Apps
Ability to read, write and speak in English.
Physical Activities & Requirements-HVAC Service Technician
Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Environment: Work in varying temperatures including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures
Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
Schedule: Must be available to work nights and weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
Visual Abilities: Must be able to correctly differentiate between colors
Other: Must be proficient in the use of smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices
