Technician II – Electrical/Controls

Pay: $35–$43/hr (DOE)

Schedule: 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3 or 5-2) – must be able to work days or nights

Type: Temp-to-Hire – Long-term growth opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Technician II to support electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and automation projects in a fast-paced industrial environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving complex problems, and taking ownership of technical projects, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting across plant systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics with accuracy
  • Write, edit, and troubleshoot PLC code (Rockwell/ControlLogix or Siemens experience highly preferred)
  • Support and lead automation & controls projects
  • Work independently on technical challenges — role is 60% troubleshooting / 40% project support
  • Provide expertise for continuous improvement and facility upgrades

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills & Traits:

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting background
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply schematics
  • PLC programming & troubleshooting experience
  • Hands-on, self-driven problem solver who works well independently
  • Experience with Rockwell/ControlLogix or Siemens controls
  • Solid understanding of controls, automation, and industrial systems
  • Comfortable with rotating schedules and day/night shifts

Education:

  • High School Diploma (technical certifications a plus)
