HiFyve is hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Maintenance Technicians in the manufacturing industry!

Salary: $35–$40/hr

Shift:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM Additional ot available on Fridays
• 
  
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Additional ot available on Fridays

Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspecting equipment for wear and tear.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with production line equipment, motors, and conveyors.
• Implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to optimize production and minimize downtime.
• Document and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Recommend and assist with improvements to maintenance policies and procedures.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification or diploma in a related technical field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the manufacturing industry; food industry experience a plus.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Extensive knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and equipment calibration.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, motors, and conveyors.
• Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
