HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in St. Louis, MO!

Salary: $90-105K/yr

Shift: 1st shift/day shift schedule

Location: St. Louis, MO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and implement all maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, to ensure continuous production and efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance personnel; develop departmental work schedules and assignments
  • Oversee installation, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of plant equipment, including heat treating, materials handling, fabrication equipment, and plant utilities
  • Implement and sustain safe work practices and programs; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal safety policies
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks and projects in coordination with Plant Manager
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain equipment files, manuals, drawings, and logs; ensure proper documentation of electrical modifications as required
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and other internal teams to support plant operations
  • Manage outside contractors, vendors, and purchasing of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Lead technical training and development for maintenance personnel
  • Stay current with technological advancements and developments in maintenance and manufacturing

Education Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or AS degree with equivalent electrical/mechanical training

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3–5 years of maintenance management experience with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronics, pipe fitting, instrumentation, temperature control, welding, and high-pressure gases (Nitrogen, Argon)
  • Familiarity with industrial furnaces, heat processing equipment, or PLCs a plus
  • Experienced with preventive maintenance programs and quality programs
  • Strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to plant emergencies

License(s)/Certification(s) Required:

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Any process-specific certifications a plus
  • Training in supervision, management, and business preferred
