What You’ll Do-Metallurgical Engineer

• Support and improve manufacturing processes and product quality within the Sheet department
• Investigate and resolve quality and process issues
• Evaluate and develop products, processes, and equipment based on customer requirements
• Ensure process control and standard procedures are followed
• Partner with operations, shift leaders, and production teams to drive performance

Note: Off-shift or weekend support may be required in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

What You Need-Metallurgical Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
• 1+ year of experience or relevant internship
• Must be a U.S. person (ITAR requirement) and authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience-Metallurgical Engineer

• 4+ years in metallurgical or manufacturing environments
• Experience with quality systems (IATF16949, AS9100)
• Knowledge of metallurgy principles, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and material processing
• Lean manufacturing and statistical analysis experience
• Background in metals or aluminum production
