Maintenance Crew Leader

💰 $43.00 – $47.50/hr

This is a high-impact leadership role in a heavy industrial environment where you’ll lead maintenance operations, solve complex technical challenges, and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (rotating schedule)
  • Rotation: 2 days on / 2 days off, then 5 days on / 5 days off
  • Training will be on day shift

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and supervise electrical, mechanical, and production employees
  • Serve as the go-to resource for maintenance troubleshooting and technical support
  • Execute both planned and unplanned maintenance work to meet department goals
  • Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Investigate equipment issues and develop long-term solutions
  • Provide on-call support for critical maintenance needs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S, quality, and company policies
  • Support training and development of maintenance and production teams
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

What You Bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (minimum 2 years in industrial setting)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience in a similar maintenance leadership role
  • 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of PLCs and hydraulic systems
  • Experience supervising in a union environment
  • Experience leading production employees
