About the Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect to support a major transformation within the insurance industry. In this role, you act as a bridge between development and infrastructure teams, designing high-level architectures that meet technical, security, and business standards.

This mission includes a large migration initiative involving the integration of newly acquired environments into an existing enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing applications and underlying infrastructure to define migration paths across network and security (AD) domains.
• Design architecture solutions in collaboration with domain experts.
• Ensure alignment with security standards, business needs, and cost constraints.
• Support projects by designing infrastructure required for new solutions.
• Communicate and defend design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills

Mandatory:

• Solid experience with Windows Server & workstation technologies
• Experience with at least 3: Hyper-V, MS SQL Server, Active Directory, IIS, Azure
• Strong knowledge of network protocols & technologies
• Mid-level experience (2–5 years)

Nice to Have:

• .NET framework & development environments
• Linux & Java environments (incl. security & monitoring)
• REST & SOAP
• MS AVD
• SAML, OAuth, ADFS, PKI, Kerberos
• Azure integration services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, …)
• Strong knowledge of Visio & PowerPoint

Languages

Good command of English, Dutch, and French (spoken, written, read).

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Ability to operate across technical and architectural domains
• Experience in large-scale migrations or infrastructure transformations is a strong asset
