Therapy Manager - Outpatient Orthopedics Therapy


SETTING: Outpatient Orthopedics

LOCATION: Camarillo, CA

SHIFT: Days; Full-Time


A leading outpatient rehabilitation clinic is seeking an experienced and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to step into a Therapy Manager role. This dual-function position combines hands-on patient care with leadership and operational oversight of clinic functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day clinical and administrative operations to ensure high-quality patient care and team performance.
  • Supervise and support all therapy and clerical staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and compliance.
  • Monitor patient flow and services to maintain compliance with payer policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct staff meetings, coordinate payroll and time-off requests, and manage supply and equipment needs.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, collaborate across departments, and assist with special projects to improve clinic operations.
  • Deliver direct patient care including evaluations, customized treatment planning, documentation, and patient education.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited PT or OT program with active licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient therapy operations, payer requirements, and healthcare compliance.
  • Current CPR certification and TB screening required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
