Vertical Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an experience Civils / Infrastructure engineer to join a thriving reputable privately owned civil and structural engineering consultancy. Their 40-strong team has extensive experience in the UK construction industry providing design and advisory services to Developers, Building Occupiers and Contractors across a range of sectors, including commercial, data centres and residential, and specialise in industrial and logistics buildings and associated infrastructure.

The Role:

• Design of civil engineering schemes associated with large developments throughout the UK
• Client management including attendance at client and design team meetings
• Recognised point of contact for clients on projects
• Managing junior staff delivering infrastructure schemes
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting their training and development
• Input into financial control of projects, contributing to fee proposals and invoicing

Requirement's:

• Competent user of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and (ideally but not essential) MicroDrainage/Causeway
• Flow Experience of highway/drainage design associated with S278, S38, S104 agreements
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience of working with developers/contractors
