Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in leading and delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across all project stages. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and delivering high-quality electrical design packages across all project stages.
• Contributing to resource management and planning, ensuring optimal project efficiency.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering collaboration.
• Liaising with clients, architects, and stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation in electrical design.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar electrical design role within the building services industry.
• A strong understanding of technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• A degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent).
• Working towards or already Chartered status with the Engineering Council.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution (CIBSE, IET, or equivalent).
• A passion for sustainable design and innovation in the built environment.
