Overview:

We are working with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy based in Wigan, currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer with extensive ANSYS Analysis expertise to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile nuclear reactor projects, focusing on complex structural analysis and modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced structural analysis and modelling using ANSYS software.
• Contribute to the design and evaluation of safety-critical nuclear reactor structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support on challenging engineering tasks.
• Conduct regular reporting and documentation to support project delivery timelines.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Structural Engineer, ideally within the nuclear, energy, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proficient in ANSYS Analysis and other relevant structural analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of safety-critical project requirements and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to Bristol 2–3 times per week (travel and accommodation costs covered).
