We're proud to be working exclusively with an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy. They're in a process on expanding their South Manchester team, with key individuals including a Mechanical Engineer.


You’ll be assisting with projects across commercial, education, and residential sectors. Recent project wins include a high profile £300M city centre regeneration scheme. With several recent project and framework wins and significant growth plans, now is the ideal time to join a growing practice known for its technical strength, supportive culture, and varied project portfolio.


This is a great opportunity for an ambitious mechanical design engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of a variety of building services projects. The successful candidate will join an approachable and highly skilled team who provide a great sense of responsibility and involvement to its engineers. What you'll be doing:

  • Working as part of a design team delivering the full range of mechanical services from concept stage through to detailed design.
  • Using software packages such as, CAD, Revit MEP.
  • Liaising closely with other professionals, including architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams
  • Attending a range of project and technical meetings
  • Working to Health and safety guidelines.
  • Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint


What we need from you:

  • At least 2 years experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer, gained with a Consultancy or M&E Design Build Contractor.
  • Experience with running projects including calculations, drawings, specifications.
  • Accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND)
  • AutoCAD and Hevacomp experience.
