Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for the overall success of a portfolio of commercial/residential clients, acting as the bridge between client expectations and production crews. This role requires a balance of relationship management, horticultural knowledge, and construction oversight to ensure high-quality maintenance, timely installation enhancements, and contract retention.
Key Responsibilities

Client Relations & Retention: Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring proactive communication and timely resolution of client issues.

Quality Control & Inspections: Perform regular site inspections (weekly/monthly) to ensure maintenance standards (mowing, pruning, fertilization) are met and installations follow specifications.

Enhancement & Installation Sales: Identify opportunities for site improvements and sell enhancement projects (new plantings, hardscape improvements, lighting) to increase client value.

Operational Coordination: Work with production managers to schedule, plan, and execute both routine maintenance and enhancement projects effectively.

Budgeting & Financial Performance: Oversee the profitability of assigned accounts, including contract renewals, job costing, invoicing, and managing crew labor hours.

Safety Leadership: Ensure all crews comply with company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance or construction management.

Knowledge: Strong horticultural knowledge (plant identification, irrigation basics, pests/diseases).

Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (Word/Excel), and scheduling tools.

Education: Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or Business Management preferred.

License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
