Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, focusing on manufacturing clients
- Review financial statements and workpapers for technical accuracy and GAAP/GAAS compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff on technical and professional skills
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and resources across concurrent projects
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex accounting issues and share knowledge
- Stay current on accounting standards and industry developments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of public accounting audit/assurance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience a plus
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Tech-savvy and comfortable adapting to new software and platforms
